Sheikhbahaee University was established by virtue of the 1994 Law of Non–Governmental and Non-Profitable Universities and Institutions by the effort of 10 professors from the University of Isfahan in new city of Isfahan
Upon the establishment, Sheikhbahaee University had 4 major areas and 175 students. Currently, the university has about 3500 students, 14 undergraduate programs, 9 postgraduate courses, and one Ph.D. program.
This university is governed according to educational regulations of the High Council of Cultural Revolution and the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, the latter endorses its credential degrees.
Currently, Sheikhbahaee University of Isfahan has more than 34 science Committee members at various majors.
Sheikhbahaee University was established by virtue of the 1994 Law of Non–Governmental and Non-Profitable Universities and Institutions by the effort of 10 professors from the University of Isfahan. Like many other universities and institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, it admits students through the National Entrance Examination held by the Iranian Educational Testing Organization. The students are therefore to comply with the rules and regulations set by the mentioned council and ministry in all aspects of their education including matters related to students affairs, disciplines, tuition, fees, etc.
It is admitted from the registration stage to the graduation stage in all aspects of education, student, disciplinary, tuition, etc. are subject to the regulations approved by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution and the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology
In order to create a suitable environment for the growth of talents and to contribute to the educational situation and livelihood of gifted students and the general public, a student welfare fund was established.
The student and cultural deputy in the structure of the university is a kind of representative of students and a provider of services, welfare and cultural demands of students in the form of university rules and regulations.
The university has had a large number of student and non-student cultural, political, social and scientific publications by forming a committee to review publications.
Other matters include religious occasions, lectures, festivals and celebrations, university counseling center, etc.
If possible, students can use student work for 80 hours a month according to the regulations
This deputy, with its continuous connection with the Shahid Foundation and the Janbazan Foundation, will take care of the problems and troubles of the children of the Shahed in coordination with the Shahed Foundation and take the necessary measures.
In the way with medium and long-term development programs, Sheikhbahaee University has taken a fundamental step towards the development of educational, research and student space.
Has started the comprehensive plan of the university on a land with an area of more than 2 hectares on the southwest side of Baharestan,Farhang Street
In this plan, four faculties of engineering, basic sciences, humanities and postgraduate education with all educational spaces, educational aid, welfare and extracurricular up to 2 students are envisaged.

This department offers 3 programs: software, hardware, and network. Regarding software, the department has taken steps to develop the university’s required soft-waresincluding training, financial, accounting, payment, property, library systems etc. Since 2009, attempt has been made to keep the soft-waresup to date. The developed soft-waresare open-source, around which the department is prepared to sign contracts with other Higher education centers. In the field of hardware,the centre has met the needs of the faculty and staff, and a number of contracts have been signed with a variety of subsidiary companies to cater for their required Internet bandwidth. A wireless internet umbrella is also available.
